In October 2022, Savannah Vision Tanzania actively participated in the annual conference for non-governmental organizations held in Dodoma. The conference placed a strong emphasis on the sustainability of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), fostering essential discussions on the role of NGOs in bringing sustainable development to Tanzania, and addressing the challenges and possibilities within the sector.
The conference, a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, gathered NGOs from various sectors to explore strategies for long-term impact. Key themes revolved around the vital role NGOs play in the development landscape and the ways they can contribute to sustainable progress in Tanzania.
The Guest of Honour, the Prime Minister of Tanzania, delivered a reassuring message to the participants. He acknowledged and appreciated the commendable work done by NGOs, emphasizing the government’s commitment to collaborating with these organizations to bring about meaningful development for the Tanzanian people.
